Job Description
Title: Personnel Security SpecialistLocation: Alexandria, VAClearance: Top Secret, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access and a CI polygraph Responsibilities:Serve as the primary focal point for all personnel security actions
Support the classified personnel processing and maintenance of eligibility for all company sites
Oversee the tracking of any special security nominations or other required client actions, from program management through indoctrination and continued access
Process incoming and outgoing security clearance and visit access authorizations, classified meeting requirements, and company and client badging requirements
Monitor personnel security activities in DISSSubmit all required self-reported items from staff to the appropriate system of record
Audit all required security education training and special briefings in support of the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program at all company sites
Establish and maintain working relationships with government customers, program staff, and other company administrative personnel
Serve as a member of the corporate insider threat team Assist in developing and updating any required security plans, procedures, and instructions
Serve as a monitor for potential vendor fraud risk and recommend mitigation practices to relevant stakeholders
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a security-related field of study is requiredA minimum of three (3) years' experience with the DoD or IC community Completion of CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum (or equivalent) is required with the ideal candidate possessing other Industry certifications
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ProjectMust possess strong interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail to ensure security protocols are followed
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task on a variety of projects
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions with minimal information desired
Familiarization of SCIF operations
Experience with security government databases such as DISS, NISS, and SCI nominations through DoD & IC client portals Working knowledge of these Microsoft Office products: Project, SharePoint, and Planner Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access and a CI polygraph Equal Opportunity Employer/Veteran/Disabled
