Job Description
Job SummarySenior Industrial Engineer optimizes complex manufacturing, logistics, or service systems by developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient processes to reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance safety. They analyze workflows, conduct time studies, design facility layouts, and mentor junior engineers, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methods and advanced data analysis to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop production flow, line layout, and station planning based on the product design from R&D team.
- Develop standard cycle time by IE skills (ex. motion and time study & ergonomics, etc.) and do the line balancing.
- Write manufacturing SOP documents of assembly/test/pack stations.
- Track line UPH & multiple manufacturing efficiency KPI and solve the production
- Ability to understand and work with technical documentation including business process flows and system documents to assess designs and issues as required
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Industrial Eng., Mechanical Eng., Engineering Management, etc.
- Advanced-level MS Office skills and AutoCAD (2D layout).
- Innate ability to fully comprehend new processes and systems quickly, with high attention to detail.
- experience in electronic manufacturing
- 5 years’ related work experience
- Lead and participate in projects that support the Lean rollout
- Drive the Lean philosophy throughout the site
- Develop and foster a continuous improvement in culture
- Develop and implement a range of Lean and IE tools to improve overall performance
- Preparation of floor layouts for manufacturing processes
- Conduct Production capacity analysis
- Provide support to manufacturing as required to meet the business targets and objectives
- Lead and manage assigned BPI personnel
- Change agent for the site Lean transformation
- Support, mentor and coach Team Leaders and other plant staff
- Coordinate all actions and verification test, review, create tracking during NPI stage
- (NPI) stage handling and managing feedback
- FAI pre-check, provide feedback to PM/RD if issue was found.
