Infant Assistant Teacher
Primrose School of North Meridian
Location: 4818 N. Elsinore Ave., Meridian, ID
Primrose School of North Meridian is looking for a caring, dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to join our loving infant team. If you have a heart for babies and enjoy nurturing, comforting, and supporting little ones during their earliest milestones, this role may be perfect for you.
This position works with infants ages 6 weeks to 15 months and rotates between two infant classrooms, both with small group sizes and a low 1:4 teacher-to-child ratio.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- No nights or weekends

- $14-$17 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do
- Assist in providing loving, responsive care to infants ages 6 weeks to 15 months
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and play
- Rotate between two infant classrooms while maintaining consistency and strong relationships with children
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Follow safe sleep, health, and licensing guidelines at all times
- Communicate positively with lead teachers and families
- Help create a warm, nurturing environment where infants feel safe and secure
What We're Looking For
- Meets Idaho childcare licensing requirements
- Infant or early childhood experience preferred, but not required
- A calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
- Dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about working with babies
