Job Title: Information Security Specialist Location : Charlotte, NC 28202, Irving, TX, 30328, Minneapolis, MN, 55402, San Francisco, CA 94111, Cincinnati, OH 45226, Chicago, Illinois 60603, New York, NY 10036, Atlanta, GA 30328 Duration: 6 months contract (Possible extension) Job Summary We are seeking an Information Security Specialist to support application security initiatives focused on security tool administration, cloud migration, DevSecOps integration, and automation. The ideal candidate will have experience with Application Security, SAST/SCA/DAST tools, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud platforms, and scripting/programming to improve security processes and support development teams. This role is based at a client hub location (NC, TX, MN preferred; other hub locations may be considered). Remote work is not available. Key Responsibilities Implement, configure, and support Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Software Composition Analysis (SCA/OSA) solutions. Support migration of application security tools from on-premises infrastructure to Cloud/SaaS platforms. Manage and maintain Docker containers, Helm charts, and related application security infrastructure. Update and maintain Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD pipelines to integrate application security tools. Automate operational and support tasks using Java, Python, Groovy, and Gradle. Troubleshoot build pipeline and application security tool integration issues. Support development teams with application security onboarding and scan configuration. Upgrade, configure, and migrate SAST, OSA, and DAST tools. Participate in incident response and technical investigations as needed. Recommend and implement process improvements through automation. Ensure adherence to security standards, compliance requirements, and organizational policies. Required Skills Application Security (AppSec) SAST (Static Application Security Testing) SCA / OSA (Software Composition Analysis / Open Source Analysis) DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) Jenkins GitLab Docker Helm Charts DevOps / CI/CD Java Python Gradle Cloud (AWS and/or Azure) Preferred Skills Threat Modeling AI AppSec Project Overview SAST tool migration from on-premises to SaaS, including configuration, pipeline updates, and testing. Business-as-usual Application Security support for development teams. Automation of routine support activities and development of self-service documentation. Migration of existing projects from one Open Source Analysis (OSA) solution to another.
