Job Description

Job Title: ISS/Vulnerability Assessment Analyst Clearance Required: Secret Work Location: Pensacola, FL

Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Information System Security/Vulnerability Assessment Analyst in support of our NETC Cyber customer. In this role, this individual will be responsible for software security, including designing, implementing, and managing security policies, RMF processes, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities. Capable of working independently while supporting complex security initiatives, troubleshooting moderate-level issues, and guiding junior team members in secure system operations and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage procedures to ensure database and software security.
Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge.
Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Required Qualifications:

Experience/Skills:

3+ years of experience with Navy and DoD Cyber vulnerability assessment and security tools, including ACAS
3+ years of experience with Cyber vulnerability remediation and Cyber risk analysis
1+ years of experience with DoD security technical implementation guidelines (STIG) and Security Readiness Guidelines (SRGs)
8+ years of professional work experience (inclusive of aforementioned tech experience)

Required Education:

HS diploma or GED

Required Certifications:

DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Certification (minimum of CompTIA Security+ certification)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with VMware, Cisco networking or switching devices, networks architecture, databases, TCP/IP, or VLANs
Experience with VRAM and eMASS
Experience with the US Navy

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $75,000- $80,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
