Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and experience working with AWS services. This role requires a problem-solver with excellent communication skills who is ready to contribute to innovative projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered:

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
8-10 years of experience required in Java Development
8-10 years of experience required with AWS
Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, etc.)
Knowledge of API development, JSON, and REST principles
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Nice-to-have skills but are not required:

Experience with additional AWS services
Advanced understanding of microservices architecture
Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Key tasks and expectations for the role:

Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and AWS services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Implement security and data protection measures
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
