Request ID: 65365-1Title: QuickBase & Power BI DeveloperLocations: Plano, TX 75024 Duration: 6+ MonthsSalary Range: $45 - $50/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quickbase & Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business-critical applications and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Quickbase application development and advanced Power BI capabilities, along with experience integrating systems and delivering data-driven insights to stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesQuickbase Development
- Design, develop, and enhance Quickbase applications, including:
- Tables, relationships, and schemas
- Forms, reports, dashboards, and pipelines
- User roles, permissions, and governance
- Customize applications to meet evolving business requirements
- Maintain and optimize existing Quickbase environments for performance and scalability
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI aligned with business needs
- Develop and optimize data models, including semantic layers
- Write complex DAX calculations and measures
- Ensure data visualization best practices for clarity and usability
- Manage data refresh schedules and connectivity across multiple data sources
- Integrate Quickbase with external systems (APIs, Excel, databases, and third-party tools)
- Design and maintain efficient ETL/ELT processes
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization
- Work closely with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Translating business needs into technical solutions
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes
- Perform ongoing enhancements and system improvements
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively
- Create and maintain:
- Technical documentation
- Data dictionaries
- User guides and training materials
- Strong expertise in Quickbase application development
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including:
- Data visualization
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Data modeling
- Data source connectivity
- Experience with API integrations and data connectivity tools
- Knowledge of relational databases and data modeling concepts
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines
- Quickbase
- Power BI
- Excel (advanced level)
- REST APIs / Web services
- SQL (preferred)
- Experience with Adobe Workfront, including:
- Workflow configuration
- Task automation
- Tool customization
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Quickbase development
- 3+ years of experience in Power BI development
