Job Description
Job Title: PSA Engineer - Generation Job Location: Melbourne, FL 32904 or Bellevue, WA 98004 (Preferred On-site, open to Remote) Salary Range: $55-70/hr Job Duration: 6 MonthsRequired skills:
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Over 5 years of experience in Power system applications (Generation) such as Automatic Generation Control (AGC), Load Frequency Control, and Load Forecasting.
- Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating environments.
- Experience with communication protocols: IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3, Modbus, ICCP, OPC.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Client PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS/GDC Platform Software.
- Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, or PERL for system integration or scripting.
- Familiarity with project management tools like MS Project or Primavera.
- Develop and deliver advanced Power Systems Application software to meet project commitments.
- Work with Electric Utilities and System Operators on functional software specifications, designing, coding, and testing.
- Administer and optimize the Energy Management System (EMS) through application configuration, tuning, and security patching.
