Salary Range: $70 - $75/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Vermilion Reporting Specialist to design, implement, and support investment reporting solutions using the Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS). The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, financial domain knowledge, and the ability to deliver high-quality client reporting solutions in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Configuration
- Implement, configure, and customize the Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) to meet client-specific investment reporting requirements.
- Manage system setup, configuration, and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and maintain data interfaces between VRS and external systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, Markit EDM, Aladdin, and APIs (XML/JSON).
- Ensure seamless data flow and integration across platforms.
- Build, test, and maintain automated workflows and batch reporting processes.
- Optimize reporting cycles for efficiency and reliability.
- Design and develop high-quality, branded client reports in formats such as PDF, MS Office, and HTML.
- Support reporting across multiple asset classes including Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivatives.
- Perform system testing, data validation, and debugging to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Identify and resolve issues in reporting and data pipelines.
- Strong expertise in SQL (MS SQL Server and Oracle).
- Experience with ETL processes and database troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS), including modules, APIs, and report design.
- Solid understanding of financial services and asset management.
- Knowledge of portfolio performance, client reporting, and financial instruments (Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives).
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting/visualization tools.
- Familiarity with integration technologies (API, XML, JSON).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in Java development is a plus.
- Exposure to reporting standards and data analysis practices.
- Must include an active LinkedIn profile in the resume.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.
