DescriptionA major aerospace company is looking for a Semiconductor Fab Technician for their Semiconductor Fab.
Responsibilities:
" Operate, monitor, and maintain semiconductor processing equipment (e.g., photolithography, etch, deposition, metrology, packaging).
" Load/unload wafers and ensure proper documentation and handling.
" Perform routine equipment startups, shutdowns, and calibrations.
" Assist in troubleshooting and recovering process deviations or equipment issues.
" Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
" Accurately record data and maintain production logs and reports.
" Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support process improvement initiatives.
" Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the cleanroom environment.
Basic Qualifications for Semiconductor Fab Technician:
" High school diploma or GED.
" Computer & communication skills (Microsoft Office)
" Ability to work in a cleanroom (gowning required) and handle small, delicate components.
" Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented attitude.
" May require standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working in shifts, including nights or weekends
Preferred Qualifications for Semiconductor Fab Technician:
" Experience in FOD controlled lab environment
" Familiarity with shop order or manufacturing execution systems (MES)
" Associate degree or technical training in Electronics, or related field. - Experience with legacy semiconductor tools, including both wet and dry processes.
" Exposure to low-volume, high-mix R&D or prototyping environments.
" Basic understanding of process flows across front-end and back-end semiconductor fabrication.
