Job Description
IT Internship- Industrial Tectonics Bearings:
Install, modify and make repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical support and advice to system users.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Identify and procure hardware and software with required approval.
- Image and configure computers for deployment to users.
- Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, printers & memory upgrades.
- Install, configure and update operating systems and software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS/400 client, Solidworks, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and network problems as needed.
- Provide telephone, in-person and online technical support to users for all IT related issues.
- Refers major problems to corporate IT support group for guidance.
- Process requests for new user accounts and additional access, ensuring that the necessary approvals have been provided, and that they are completed in a timely manner.
- Connects users to the network and provides initial training in use.
- Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in an IT related field.
- 3 years of applicable work history or any combination of education, work history or demonstration of capability.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, peripherals and Windows accounts.

MIN: $25 to $25 per hour

The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting.
