POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's information technology infrastructure, systems, and operations. This role serves as the primary technology leader for Denton Floyd Real Estate Group, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable IT solutions that support the company's real estate operations, property management platforms, and business objectives. The IT Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and accounting teams to align technology strategy with business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infrastructure & Systems Management
Manage, maintain, and optimize all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud environments, and endpointsOversee the administration of core business systems including property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio), ERP platforms, and Microsoft 365 Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of all IT systems and servicesDevelop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plansCybersecurity & Compliance
Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practicesMonitor systems for security threats and vulnerabilities; lead incident response when needed Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy regulations and real estate industry standardsConduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and employee security awareness trainingIT Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute a strategic IT roadmap aligned with company growth and operational objectivesEvaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve business efficiency and competitiveness Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective solutionsDrive digital transformation initiatives across property operations, leasing, and asset managementTeam Leadership & Support
Supervise, mentor, and develop IT staff and/or managed service providersProvide escalated technical support for complex issues affecting business operations Serve as the primary IT liaison for internal departments, vendors, and external technology partnersDevelop and maintain IT documentation, policies, and standard operating proceduresPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified (MCSE/MCSA), CISSP, or PMPExperience supporting multi-site real estate or property management operations Knowledge of PropTech solutions and smart building technologyFamiliarity with construction or development project technology needsBenefits
