ANS is seeking a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph cleared Information Technology Senior Consultant/Sr. Storage NetApp Engineer to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

Requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Hands on NetApp experience a MUST
• Hands-on engineering experience with NetApp and other storage technologies and concepts
• Experience with SAN, NAS, Fiber Channel and iSCSI storage implementations
• Experience with capacity planning and sizing storage and backup environments • Experience in performance tuning and optimizing storage and backup environments
• Experience with data center migrations and storage replication technologies
• Senior-level experience with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware platforms and data centers
• Strong understanding of high availability concepts with practical experience and implementation of key components in storage environments
• Strong understanding of fundamental hardware concepts: disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA, firmware, RAID, performance concepts (I/O, paging, swapping, system calls), iSCSI, Fiber Channel, Ethernet
• Strong understanding of essential TCP/IP concepts: TCP, UDP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, DNS, NTP, etc.
• Experience connecting storage arrays to Hypervisor Technologies (NUTANIX, VMWARE VCF, OpenStack).
• Understanding of security best practices and federal hardening requirements (FISMA, STIG, etc.)
• CompTIA Security+ or similar certification for IAT Level II DoD 8570 compliance
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Strong collaborative attitude and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to take direction

Ranges are not a guarantee of compensation and depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to contractual requirements, work location, years of experience, skill set, and education. Overtime is not guaranteed for this position. The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $1200,000.00 USD.
