Job Description

Job Summary: We are hiring a mid-level Infrastructure Estimator to support federal telecommunications and infrastructure projects. This role focuses on developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for complex telecom and site infrastructure work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with Accubid, and comfortable collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications, plans, and drawings for federal telecommunicationsand infrastructure projects
  • Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment using Accubid and Bluebeam
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop and refine project bids
  • Evaluate project risks and recommend cost-effective mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and applicable local code requirements
  • Support proposal development and participate in occasional site visits or pre-bid meetings

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience using Accubid (required)
  • Experience estimating telecommunications infrastructure projects
  • Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical experience preferred, with general knowledge of NEC and code compliance
  • Experience with design-build projects
  • Previous work on federal or military installations (e.g., Joint Base Lewis-McChord)
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar takeoff software
