You will partner across infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to strengthen performance, resilience, and secure access for critical business services.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, wireless access points, and other network appliances.
  • Monitor availability, traffic, and capacity; use data and enterprise monitoring tools to identify risks and improve network performance.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, authentication, and connectivity issues, restoring service with urgency and care.
  • Strengthen network security by maintaining firewall policies, segmentation, IDS/IPS, NAC, and VPN controls; contribute to vulnerability remediation, hardening, and incident response.
  • Partner with server, storage, cloud, security, application, and directory-services teams to integrate network requirements into projects and technology refreshes.
  • Coordinate effectively with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders during incidents, changes, and planned implementations.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, inventories, standards, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides to make knowledge easy to share and reuse.
  • Recommend practical improvements that increase reliability, security, performance, and operational efficiency while supporting change-management standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience supporting, operating, and managing enterprise network infrastructure in large-scale environments.
  • Hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, wireless networking, SD-WAN, and site-to-site and remote-access VPN technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, TCP/UDP ports, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, network segmentation, performance tuning, and secure network design.
  • Experience diagnosing complex outages and performance issues, completing root-cause analysis, and supporting critical business services.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Current CCNA certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • AWS networking or cloud certification; Azure or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification is also valued.
  • Experience supporting data center, virtualization, cloud, and enterprise directory-services initiatives.
