Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Infrastructure Risk Prevention Technician. This role is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and responding to critical FAB infrastructure and facility systems during shift operations. This role serves as the primary on-site technical resource during business hours and support off-hours and weekends when needed, ensuring rapid response to equipment failures, utility disruptions, and facility alarms to minimize downtime and maintain safe, continuous operations.The technician independently respond, troubleshoots and repairs facility infrastructure and critical FAB equipment issues. This position requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent issues with minimal supervision.The IRP Technician plays a critical role in safeguarding production continuity, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and protecting both personnel and high-value manufacturing assets in a 24/7 FAB environment.
Job Description
- Monitor FAB infrastructure and facility systems
- Respond immediately to alarms, system faults, and equipment failures to minimize downtime
- Respond, troubleshoot and repair issues independently
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on critical facility systems
- Coordinate and communicate with operations, engineering, and safety teams during incidents
- Perform initial containment and escalation for high-risk or complex failures
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including LOTO, PPE, and emergency procedures
- Document incidents, repairs, and shift activities in maintenance and tracking systems
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance system reliability and response efficiency
Skills Required
- Experience supporting semiconductor FAB infrastructure or similar cleanroom environments
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Strong communication skills for cross-team coordination and incident escalation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure situations
Education/Training/Certifications
- Plumbing licensed & or Journeyman pipefitter
Additional Requirements
