Inside Sales Account Manager - SMB

Description -

Job Summary• This Inside Sales Account Manager role is responsible for engaging in Small and Medium Business (SMB) customers, handling customer inquiries, and effectively selling products, services, and solutions while nurturing client relationships. The role demonstrates advanced skills in solution-based selling, complex negotiations, and strategic collaboration to optimize sales outcomes, refine strategies, and elevate team performance.

Location: Rio Rancho, NM or Vancouver, WA

Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

Responsibilities• Handles customer request calls adeptly, leveraging expertise to effectively sell products, services, and solutions to the installed customer base.• Addresses complex customer inquiries by offering multi-product/service solutions, often involving integrated solutions that meet intricate needs.• Manages key accounts, nurturing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning offerings with client objectives.• Maintains an in-depth understanding of the organization's products, services, and industry trends, ensuring accurate and insightful communication with customers.• Navigates complex negotiations and high-value sales opportunities to secure beneficial outcomes for both customers and the organization.• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize the sales process, ensuring seamless customer experience and efficient workflows.• Provides valuable inputs to Sales Representatives on emerging market trends, customer preferences, and potential opportunities to refine sales strategies.• Analyzes performance metrics and data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimizing sales outcomes.• Contributes to the development of sales strategies, collaborating with management and cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with organization goals.• Trains, coaches, and leads other lower-level representatives, sharing knowledge and experience to enhance the team's collective performance.Education & Experience Recommended• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated knowledge.• Typically has 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in inside sales or tele sales, or a related field.Preferred Certifications• Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP)Knowledge & Skills• Business Development• Business Planning• Business To Business• Cold Calling• Consultative Selling• Cross-Selling• Customer Relationship Management• Inside Sales• Marketing• Merchandising• Outbound Calls• Phone Sales• Product Knowledge• Sales Process• Sales Prospecting• Sales Strategy• Salesforce• Selling Techniques• Telemarketing• UpsellingCross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityImpact & Scope• Impacts department and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.Complexity• Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require initiative and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role. The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $61,400 to $87,500 annually, with a 60/40 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
