Job Description
Come join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in the Upstate. The Inspection Support Operator offers various advancement opportunities and the ability to go to a full-time status as early as 90 days!Responsibilities:
- Building skid/ pallets for shipment
- Pulling out off-quality and move to proper flow area
- Load/Unload trucks, including indirect materials (tubes, plastic)
- Loading trucks includes; loading T-frame, boxes, skids, pallets, A-frames
- SAP transactions in order to ship fabric
- Help fill in on the wrapper/belt man when needed
- Keep knowledge of all general plant safety rules & safety absolutes.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner
- Wrap 1st quality cloth
- Change plastic in automatic and large roll wrappers
- Meet production goals set-out by department manager
- Supplying operators with A-frames
- Supplying operators with tubes
- Assist and break the belt support operator
- Associate will need computer operational skills.
- Associate will have to have/obtain forklift license and hoist license
- Associate will be part of plant safety process
