Project Solutions Inc. is seeking a Inspector / Quality Assurance Manager to support the Milwaukee U.S. Courthouse Hardening Project, through construction administration, quality assurance, and project oversight activities.

This role is contingent upon award of project.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serve as the designated Inspector / Quality Assurance Manager, a required Key Personnel position on the Construction Manager as Advisor (CMa) team
  • Support the Government's project objectives through construction administration and project oversight services 
  • Perform inspection and quality assurance activities in support of the Milwaukee U.S. Courthouse Hardening Project
  • Monitor project activities and provide quality oversight throughout project execution 
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Cost Estimator, Scheduler, Commissioning Agent, and Government representatives as part of the CMa team
  • Support project management and administrative functions associated with the Construction Manager as Advisor scope of services
  • Participate in project reviews, reporting, and oversight activities during the planning, acquisition, and execution phases of the project 
  • Provide inspection and quality-related support throughout the project's approximately 18-month period of performance 
  • Support the Government in its administration of the Design-Bid-Build project as part of the overall CMa services contract

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills

Education/Certification:

  • No specific degree or educational qualification is required for this position.

​​Experience:

  • Experience serving in an Inspector and/or Quality Assurance role on construction projects 
  • Experience supporting construction administration activities during project execution 
  • Experience performing project oversight and quality assurance services on construction projects 
  • Experience working as part of a Construction Manager as Advisor (CMa) team or similar project delivery team
  • Experience coordinating with Government representatives, project managers, contractors, and other project stakeholders 
  • Experience supporting Design-Bid-Build project execution and related project management activities
  • Experience participating in project reviews, reporting, and administrative support activities throughout the project lifecycle 
  • Experience monitoring project activities to support quality objectives and project compliance requirements 
  • Demonstrated experience and qualifications sufficient to serve as a Key Personnel resource under the contract's evaluation criteria

Key Attributes & Skills: 

  • Knowledge of construction administration processes and project oversight activities 
  • Ability to perform and support inspection and quality assurance functions throughout project execution 
  • Strong understanding of quality management and compliance monitoring in support of Government project objectives 
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with Government representatives, contractors, and project stakeholders 
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills to support project administration and reporting activities 
  • Ability to support multidisciplinary project teams, including the Project Manager, Cost Estimator, Scheduler, and Commissioning Agent 
  • Strong attention to detail when monitoring project activities and supporting quality-related objectives 
  • Ability to participate in project reviews, oversight activities, and progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle 
  • Capability to support the Government's advisor role under the Construction Manager as Advisor (CMa) contract for the Milwaukee U.S. Courthouse Hardening Project
