You'll work closely with supervisors and team members to inspect, grade, and manage materials, helping uphold high standards across all processes.What You'll Do As an Inspector/Laborer, you will be responsible for:

• Inspect incoming scrap materials.*
• Assess and record inspection data, including weight, grade, content, and quantity of material.*
• Ensure that all materials are free from environmental hazards and meet company acceptance policies.*
• Coordinate unloading activities to promote safe and efficient traffic flow within the facility.*
• Identify and report any equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.*
• Assist with the handling and transfer of materials, supporting overall operations.*
• Collaborate with the team on quality control to ensure customer specifications are met consistently.*
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental standards to maintain a safe work environment.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.*
• Good physical condition and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.*
• The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions safely and effectively.*
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.*
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.*
• An understanding of safety procedures and a proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe workplace.*
• Certifications such as OSHA or safety training are a plus but not required.
