Residential HVAC Installer (with Service Experience Preferred)
Location: Tempe, AZ
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential HVAC Installer to join our growing team in the Tempe area. This role is ideal for someone with strong installation experience who also has some exposure to service work and enjoys interacting with customers.
The right candidate is a team player, takes pride in quality workmanship, and communicates clearly with both customers and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Ensure all installations meet code requirements and company quality standards
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and troubleshooting as needed
- Communicate clearly with homeowners about the installation process and system operation
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely
- Assist with light service work or diagnostics when needed
Qualifications
- 3–4+ years of residential HVAC installation experience (required)
- Some service/diagnostic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- EPA Certification (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $70,000 annually
- Commission: 5% on installs performed
- Consistent, year-round work
