JOB SUMMARY
DEX Imaging is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Driver / Setup Associate to support daily deliveries, warehouse operations, and basic equipment connectivity and light network setup support for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working hands-on, and interacting with customers in a fast-paced environment.
In addition to making deliveries and supporting warehouse operations, this position may assist with basic printer setup and connectivity tasks such as helping connect devices to customer networks, verifying functionality, and communicating service needs to the technical team when needed. No advanced IT experience is required — we’re looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, tech-comfortable, and willing to learn.
This position includes local and regional day trips between branch and warehouse locations, with occasional overnight travel possible. The ideal candidate will represent DEX professionally while working safely, efficiently, and with a strong customer service mindset.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Load trucks accurately and safely for customer deliveries and equipment transfers.• Drive company vehicles to customer, vendor, and branch locations while following all traffic laws and company safety procedures.• Deliver, unload, and help position office equipment and related materials at customer locations.• Assist with basic printer setup, connectivity, and light network support tasks.• Help connect office equipment to customer networks and verify proper functionality.• Communicate technical or connectivity concerns to the appropriate service or technical support teams.• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, installations, and customer interactions.• Support warehouse operations including inventory movement, stocking, organization, and material handling.• Assist with receiving shipments and verifying quantities and product condition.• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle appearance.• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, and warehouse organization as needed.• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.• Maintain clean and organized warehouse aisles, workspaces, and storage areas.• Support other operational and branch needs as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Strong customer service and communication skills.• Comfortable using technology and learning basic equipment connectivity processes.• Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities preferred.• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, and customers.• Basic computer and mobile device familiarity preferred.• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport office equipment and materials.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• 0–3 years of driving, warehouse, delivery, installation, or related experience preferred.• Experience with office equipment, printer setup, or basic technology support is a plus, but not required.• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.• DOT Certification may be required depending on vehicle assignment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Regular business hours with occasional overtime as business needs require.• Local and regional travel required.• Occasional overnight travel may be required.• Work may occur in warehouse, office, customer, and outdoor environments.• Some environments may not be climate controlled.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.• Ability to load/unload equipment and materials safely.• Ability to operate company vehicles and warehouse equipment as needed.
