Simmons Heating & Cooling in Chesapeake, VA is hiring a full-time Installation Technician- Residential HVAC to take charge of installs and guide an apprentice/helper on every project. HERE'S THE DEAL:

This Installation Technician- Residential HVAC position works a consistent full-time schedule, Monday- Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

YOUR DAY IN THIS INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN- RESIDENTIAL HVAC ROLE:

You start your day at 7:30 am with a clear plan, your apprentice/helper by your side, and a commitment to craftsmanship. You handle full removals and installs-air to air heat pumps, geothermal, generators, boilers, furnaces, and even building and fabricating custom duct systems-while mentoring your helper and communicating with customers in a professional, respectful way. You manage your time, troubleshoot on the fly, navigate attics and crawlspaces safely, and take pride in delivering a clean, efficient, high-quality install before wrapping up at 4:30 pm.

YOU MIGHT BE A MATCH IF YOU:

2+ years of HVAC installation experience
At least 1 year of verifiable in‑home experience
Ability to work comfortably in crawlspaces and attics
Your own hand tools
A strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and pride in your craft
