Overview
Job Description
- Facilitate and coordinate the conduct of virtual, classroom, and training instruction.
- Ensure course objectives are met.
- Comply with established timelines.
- Provide guidance, direction, and provide reach-back support to Students and Government for all logistical and administrative support.
- Coordinate for a secure meeting and presentation rooms within US Government facilities, Systems, or other locations for all required courses and/or classified material presentations.
- Support the administration, analysis, and reporting for mid- and end of course student survey evaluations, and one virtual faculty/staff after action review.
- During training, provide instructional and training materials such as the Advisor Toolkit, books, background reading materials, reference guides, hand-outs, worksheets, and audio/video support as needed.
- Blackboard Learning Management System support, including building and maintaining courses, and facilitating online training.
- Student management and registration support, including Cornerstone On Demand support.
- Instructional Design Support including preparing, formatting, and producing learning materials and presentations.
- Instructional support including classroom set-up/teardown, audio/visual support, and student management support.
- Travel Coordination and administration (Defense Travel System – DTS)
- Proactive engagement with faculty, staff, students, other stakeholders and Contractor personnel to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Complete monthly activity reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs.
- Proficiency using the Blackboard Learning Management System
- Proficiency using the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- At least five (5) years of instructional support experience in a federal government instructional setting.
