Job Summary:

The School of Nutrition and Public Health invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term, Instructor/Senior Instructor I position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the School Head.

Appointment at the Instructor rank is anticipated; however, appointment at a promoted rank may be considered depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications for rank of Instructor and Senior Instructor I:

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field

  • Experience teaching online courses and supervising applied projects

  • A demonstrable commitment to inclusive excellence and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.

  • Ability to work on campus as this position cannot be performed remotely.

Additional Qualifications for the Rank of Senior Instructor I:

  • Sustained record of exceptional teaching, advising and service, at the college or university level, as evidenced by student evaluations of teaching.

  • Experience in course development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration or related field

  • Experience with accreditation or assessment activities

  • Experience with CAHME and NCHL competencies

Working Conditions/Schedule:

Work is done in an office environment. Typical schedule is 9-5pm.

Salary Range:

Salary commensurate with skills, education and experience.
