Job Description
Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Instrument Technician - II (Associate) for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Millsboro, DE. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.
This is a role with significant growth potential, blending administrative duties, vendor interaction, and hands-on calibration work. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined with strong organizational skills and is willing to perform field calibration in lab, cleanroom, and utility environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Pipette Calibrations and support P-1 and P-2 Calibration Technicians with equipment calibrations
- Handle vendor and third-party communication
- Track and manage inventory of all third-party calibration equipment for each department
- Effectively communicate with vendors and ship third-party calibration equipment
- Responsible for stocking consumables and gases for equipment calibrations
- Perform field calibration work in lab, cleanroom, and utility environments
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Mechanically inclined with an ability to learn and utilize calibration software
- Experience in a GMP or industrial equipment environment
- Good communication skills for interacting with onsite personnel and offsite vendors
- Detail-oriented, intrinsically motivated, organized, and a motivator
- Good customer service skills
Desired skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Pay range: up to $22.98 per hour
