Job Description
Role:
A Customer Service Representative is the agency's front-line responder that answers customer inquiries received via email, telephone/voicemail and face to face interaction. Key duties include processing policy adjustments and assisting customers with billing, claims and general questions about their insurance coverages. This position also can and will be expected to produce new insurance production through these customer interactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers inbound and outbound calls and emails to assist with inquiries about insurance products, coverage, and policy details.
- Addresses and resolves customer issues related to claims, billing, or policy changes, ensuring a positive experience.
- Makes necessary changes to policies, process adjustments, and ensure client policies are up to date.
- Provides information about insurance products and services, help generate proposals, and produce new insurance business as well as sometimes forward customers to sales agents.
- Documents customer requests, complaints, and other relevant information in databases.
- Performs general office duties, including pulling administrative department reports.
- Manages office supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Upholds core values and builds team member and customer relationships.
- Completes training as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
