Insurance Defense Attorney
Our firm represents clients in a wide variety of insurance defense matters, including catastrophic loss, nursing home and long-term care defense, personal injury and property damage claims, product liability, and other general liability matters. We are looking for an attorney with a strong litigation foundation who is interested in building a long-term career with a respected defense practice.
What You'll Do
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
- Conducting legal research and developing case strategy
- Taking and defending depositions
- Preparing for and attending hearings, mediations, and trials
- Communicating with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties
- Managing deadlines and case responsibilities in a fast-paced litigation environment
- Collaborating with attorneys and support staff to effectively resolve matters
What I'm Looking For
- Active Missouri Bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of civil litigation and/or insurance defense experience
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Ability to independently manage cases while working collaboratively with a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

This position offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $130,000 - $200,000 depending on experience, along with monthly and bi-annual bonus opportunities.
Attorneys will initially work onsite five days per week during the training period, with hybrid flexibility available thereafter.
