Job Description

The Insurance Marketing & Outreach Associate supports the growth of the agency by helping increase brand awareness, generate leads, and build relationships within the local community. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is outgoing, organized, and interested in marketing, business development, and the insurance industry.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce agency services, gather information, and generate qualified leads
Follow call scripts and talking points while maintaining a natural, professional conversation style
Support lead generation efforts through phone outreach, referrals, community engagement, and digital campaigns
Schedule appointments and hand off qualified prospects to licensed sales agents
Track call activity, outcomes, and lead status in CRM systems
Assist with local marketing initiatives, events, and community partnerships
Support social media, email marketing, and promotional efforts as needed
Collaborate with sales and service teams to align outreach efforts with agency goals
Represent the agency professionally in all customer interactions

Requirements

No previous insurance or marketing experience required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Comfortable speaking with clients by phone and email
Willingness to learn insurance products and sales strategies
Proficient with basic computer tools (email, Word, CRM systems)
