Job Description
Position Overview:
I am a local Insurance agent with Shelter Insurance in the Oklahoma City Metro looking to hire a producer who is motivated, eager to serve others, willing to learn and has good people skills. Right now we have a team of two people including myself and we share an office with another agent, so being able to work mesh with our office is key. I will do everything I can to help you grow as an agent so that one day you can have the skills it takes to run your own agency if that is what you strive for. This is a salary plus commission based job with incentives for hitting quote numbers and selling life insurance.

Requirements:
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required).
- Must obtain Life and Health License if joining the team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal, social, and written communication skills.
- Willingness to do things you are not comfortable with (cold calling, meeting business owners).
- Confidence, motivation, and dependability.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Successful completion of a background check and an initial 90-day probationary period.
- Attendance, punctuality, dependability, honesty, and integrity.
- Positive attitude, customer-focused, and results-oriented.
- Team player with a willingness to assist with service work.
Responsibilities:
- Generate at a minimum 5 quotes a day.
- Educate and advise customers on insurance options and coverage.
- Join and actively participate in a networking group.
- Cross-sell products to existing customers.
- Provide excellent service through consistent communication and follow-up.
