Job Details
A well-regarded insurance regulatory practice is seeking an associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its Princeton office. The group advises insurers, reinsurers, holding companies, and producers on a broad range of state regulatory matters. Associates work directly with partners on substantive client matters from day one.
Responsibilities
Rate and form filings across multiple jurisdictionsInsurance licensing and admissionsMarket conduct examination supportHolding company act filings and change of control transactionsRegulatory compliance counseling for carriers and producersInteraction with state departments of insurance, including the NJ DOBI
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school2–5 years of insurance regulatory experience at a law firm, insurance carrier, or regulatory agencyFamiliarity with NAIC model laws and multi-state regulatory frameworksStrong research, writing, and client communication skillsNew Jersey and/or Pennsylvania bar admission preferred
