Are you a people person who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers find the right solutions?

Amy King Farmers Insurance is looking for an energetic and motivated Insurance Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our local Billings team.

This is more than a desk job. Youll work directly with individuals, families, and local businesses to understand their needs, explain coverage options, provide quotes, and help clients make informed insurance decisions.

Salary Range: $40000.00 - $60000.00 per year

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Prepare insurance quotes and explain coverage in a clear, easy-to-understand way.
  • Follow up with prospective customers and develop new business opportunities.
  • Make outbound calls and connect with potential clients.
  • Review existing policies and identify opportunities to update coverage.
  • Participate in local networking, community events, and agency marketing activities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
  • Deliver a professional, helpful experience throughout the customer relationship.
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Montana Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Montana Life & Health insurance license.
  • Previous sales, insurance, or customer-facing experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound phone calls.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and digital tools.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while being part of a team.
  • A genuine interest in helping people and building long-term customer relationships.
