JOB TITLE: Integration and Test EngineerLOCATION:Little Creek, VAPAY RATE: $50.00-85.00/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (11 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?
Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?
Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Writes and executes test plans for system integration and testing activities.
Installs and configures software components for test environments.
Coordinates with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
Documents, tracks, and reports defects found during testing.
Performs Windows and Linux cross-platform test execution.
Tests micro-service architectures for system integration.
Validates databases using PostgreSQL and performs basic SQL queries.
Performs frontend testing of web user interfaces.
Installs and configures software in virtualized environments.
Uses VMWare for virtualized environment testing and configuration.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment.
Experience with Windows and Linux cross-platform test execution.
Experience testing micro-service architectures.
Experience with database validation using PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of SQL.
Experience with frontend testing of web user interfaces.
Preferred: CompTIA Security+ certification.
Preferred: Experience with US Navy training systems and processes.
Preferred: Experience with Agile workflows using Jira and Confluence.
