Job Description

Intensive In Community Therapist (Full-Time/Part-Time/Contract)

Are you a dedicated mental health professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Clear Conscience Couneling is seeking a compassionate and skilled Intensive In Community Therapist to join our IIC team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services directly within the homes and communities of the families we serve, helping children ages 3-21 build resilience and thrive.

Job Summary

The Intensive In Community Therapist delivers individualized, home- and community-based clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families. This position requires a strong commitment to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based practice, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes for youth and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions in clients' homes and community settings for children and adolescents ages 3-21
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive clinic 
  • Active New Jersey licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT,LSW, LMFT-A or LAC
  • Provisionally licensed clinicians seeking supervision toward full licensure are also encouraged to apply
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related mental health field
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based clinical practice
  • Ability to travel to clients' homes and community locations within the service area
  • Strong understanding of child and family systems and developmental needs across ages 3-21

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience providing Intensive In Community (IIC) services or similar home-based therapeutic care
  • Experience working with children and families involved in child welfare, behavioral health, or juvenile justice systems
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care models and crisis intervention techniques
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities relevant to the communities served

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills grounded in evidence-based modalities
  • Effective verbal and written communication with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Time management and organizational skills to manage a home- and community-based caseload
  • Crisis de-escalation and safety planning competencies
