Interim Elementary Teachers For K-6 School District

Clinton City Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate elementary classroom teacher for grades K-6 to join our team in the 2026 school year. This position involves creating a dynamic, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with the Tennessee state standards and district expectations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Use diverse teaching strategies to address various learning styles and needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
• Incorporate technology to exchange instruction and engage learners
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
• Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect and responsibility
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
• Valid teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee.
• Strong knowledge of K-6 curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
