Interim Quality & Patient Safety Program Manager (RN Preferred) – South of San Jose, CA

13-Week Contract | Earn Up to $3,200/Week Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading healthcare recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected healthcare organization south of San Jose, California to hire an experienced Interim Quality & Patient Safety Program Manager. Position Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the hospital's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program*
• Develop, implement, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives across the hospital, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and ambulatory surgery center*
• Analyze quality and patient safety data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement*
• Develop and implement evidence-based performance improvement projects*
• Present quality metrics and reports to executive leadership*
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes*
• Investigate adverse events, near misses, and patient safety concerns while implementing corrective action plans*
• Promote regulatory compliance and adherence to state and federal quality standards*
• Educate staff on quality improvement methodologies and patient safety initiatives*
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medicine, or a related healthcare field required*
• Master's degree preferred*
• Current California RN License preferred (or 1–3 years of related clinical experience)*
• Minimum of 3–5 years of acute care hospital quality management experience required*
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred*
• Strong knowledge of:*
  • QAPI* *
  • Risk Management* *
  • Peer Review* *
  • Incident Reporting* *
  • OPPE/FPPE* *
  • Regulatory compliance*
• Experience with Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems*
• CPHQ, CPPS, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications are preferred
