What you bring to the table
Beck is looking for a qualified new graduate to join our Dallas office. The candidate will be embedded in a project team assisting with design ideas and performing interior architectural assignments. Beck is one of the most advanced users of 3D modeling tools in the design process, so the candidate should be comfortable using Sketchup, Revit and Photoshop.
The job involves the following responsibilities:
- Assist with generating design ideas and participating in design charrettes
- Produce graphics and presentations for clients
- Generate renderings and layouts in different technologies
- Assemble a set of construction document drawings
- Implement sustainability best practices on projects
- Participate in owner's meetings
- Assist with the creation of project binders and material boards
- Work with sales representatives and coordinate product presentations
- Manage the Resource Library
- Enjoy working in a team environment
Who we think will be a great fit
A new graduate with the willingness to learn and be mentored under very talented Interior Designers, a passion to get things done, and possess uncompromising authenticity and integrity. An individual with an interest in the Integrated project delivery method and an interest in being innovative in process improvement and technology will be an ideal candidate for this position.
You also meet the following requirements:
- College graduate with relevant degree
- 0-3 Years of relevant experience
Physical Demands:
Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings, constantly communicates with project team and related parties, ability to maintain best practices related to architectural design and production, ability to adhere to consistent attendance.
