Interior Design Project Manager | Houston, TXHybrid Working Style (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
We are seeking a dynamic Interior Design Project Manager to join our client's team, an innovative, people-centered design firm known for delivering meaningful interior environments that help businesses thrive and grow. Built on collaboration, curiosity, mentorship, and technical excellence, this studio empowers its teams to do their best work while maintaining strong, trusted client relationships. We are seeking an Interior Design Project Manager to lead complex commercial interior projects from concept through construction. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who excels at client management, project planning, financial oversight, and guiding teams with clarity and foresight. Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or Interior Design (CIDA- or NCARB-accredited preferred) or demonstrated experience in commercial interior construction.
- 5+ years of experience in architectural or interior design project management.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and interior construction practices.
- Experience overseeing commercial interior projects from concept through construction.
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (Microsoft Project, CRM systems such as MS Dynamics, or similar tools).
- Experience managing project financials, budgets, and forecasting.
- Sustainable design knowledge; LEED or WELL accreditation is desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and research-driven mindset.
- Registered Interior Designer or actively pursuing registration is a plus.
