Job Description

Position Purpose

Responsible for entering medical charges, updating patient account information, reviewing patient account receivables, medical claim follow-up  and communicating with patients, providers & Insurance payers. Must be detailed oriented and able to follow specific guidelines for proper billing processes. Experience and judgment needed to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks daily. Exceptional organizational & computer skills. Reports to a supervisor or manager.

Position Qualifications

Education:

High school degree or equivalent

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

Minimum 1 year medical billing experience or medical billing education preferred.Must be detailed oriented and able to multitask.   Computer skills necessary.
