Job Description:

Job Summary: Assist Reliability Engineering with executing the research and development projects on AAON products. Support efforts to implement new products or product changes with AAON using reliability testing and root cause analysis. Work closely with experienced engineers and/or Management responsible for running short-term projects to develop engineering experience.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts production reliability tests and methodologies to anticipate failures.

  • Evaluates product performance, history, and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance.

  • Assist with reliability testing of AAON products.

  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Communicates with all Engineering departments within the organization to gather information pertaining to the project.

  • Develop, build, and utilize testing rig to determine the reliability.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Current Student or recent graduate of an ABET accredited engineering program.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.

  • Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.

  • Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.

  • Works effectively in a team environment.

  • Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.

Work Environment:

  • Office with periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
