Job Description
SUMMARY: As the student intern enters the company, it is expected that the intern will assume, as much as possible, the role of a regular staff member. The Wealth Management Intern will work directly with the Brokerage Manager to complete various assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhering to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
- Adhering to company policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of
confidential information.
- Assuming personal and professional responsibilities for his or her actions and activities.
- Maintaining professional relationships with company employees, customers and so forth.
- Utilizing a courteous, enthusiastic, open-minded, critical approach to policies and procedures within
the profession.
- Relating and applying knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the company setting.
- Developing a self-awareness in regard to attitudes, values, behavior patterns, and so forth that
influence work.
- Preparing for and utilizing conferences and other opportunities of learning afforded in the company.
- Being consistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignments to the supervisor and faculty
coordinator.
- Providing the faculty coordinator with periodic progress reports.
- Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business and personal
information confidential.
- Accept responsibilities and projects as assigned by a supervisor to add value for Farmers National
Bank.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, in a positive manner, with coworkers and the public.
- Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money
Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or General Education degree (GED)
- Currently enrolled in a College Degree program - Finance/Accounting preferred
- Must possess basic computer skills and knowledge, use a calculator, typewriter, phone, fax machine, and other office equipment.
