General Responsibilities:
Our internship and co op program offer practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, as well as the business functions that support these services. You'll work alongside professionals who live our Core Values: Caring, Courage, Curiosity, Excellence Integrity, and Prosperity every day.Eligible MajorsCivil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological, or Construction Engineering; Biology; Geology; or other related technical or business fields.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
What You'll DoCollaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignmentsSupport active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomesBuild core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report developmentReceive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you growParticipate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadershipEvery task supports Terracon's commitment to safety, strengthens our service to clients, and reflects the integrity and excellence behind our work.Key Learning AreasSafe field and laboratory practices that reflect Terracon's "Safety First" cultureASTM, DOT, and COE testing standardsProposal and technical report developmentProject management fundamentalsQuality management systems that support reliable resultsEffective client communication and consulting skills
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, science, technical, or business related fieldsInterest in consulting and fieldworkDemonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon's valuesA valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required

About the Team
