We're Hiring: Internal Auditor
Location: On-site in Santa Fe, NM
Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Starting Salary:$56,551
Guadalupe Credit Union is looking for a Internal Auditor to join our team! In this role, Support the credit union by helping ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and effective processes across the organization. This role works closely with departments to review operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and help protect the credit union and its members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audit reviews to evaluate processes, controls, and compliance.
- Partner with departments to understand workflows and gather information.
- Identify risks and recommend practical solutions for improvement.
- Document audit work and communicate findings clearly.
- Support follow-up on audit items to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements:
Experience:Minimum of two to five years of experience in auditing required. Knowledge of compliance, fraud detection, and audit standards is strongly preferred
- Education: (1) Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting, as well as standing and walking, with occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, and crouching. Filing and lifting of items up to 20 pounds may be required on an occasional basis.
