Internal Medicine
PRACTICE SPECIFICS
- Join another internist and 6 FP Physicians in a beautiful Lake front community of 10,000.
- Primarily an office-based practice in space connected to the hospital.
- Option to follow and treat patients that are admitted to the hospital or elect to have them treated by a Hospitalist and referred back to you post discharge.
- Anticipated weekly work schedule: 8-5, M-F plus call rotation. Back up call (by phone only) filtered by ARNP or PA.
- Anticipated volume of office patients per day: 15-22/day
- Provide IM support to Hospitalist covering an 8 bed ICU and 16 bed M/S unit in the only Hospital in the County.
- Average daily census of unit: ICU = 4; MSP = 15
- COMPENSATION: $321,250 - Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine
- Centrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area
- 1 hour from Fargo and 3 hours from the Twin Cities
- Detroit Lakes population: 8,100
- Regional Service area consists of 4 clinics & 1 hospital
- NHSC Loan Repayment Site
