Internal Medicine Physician | Providence, RI | Competitive Compensation+ Loan Repayment
A respected Federally Qualified Health Center is seeking a Primary Care Provider – Adult Medicine to join its outpatient team serving the adult community in Providence. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, building long-term patient relationships, and making a meaningful impact in an underserved population.
Position Overview
The Primary Care Provider will provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients in a collaborative, mission-driven setting. This role focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness services, and improving overall health outcomes for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct annual wellness exams and preventive screenings
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular conditions
- Coordinate referrals to specialty care when appropriate
- Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support whole-person care
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active or eligible Rhode Island medical license
- DEA certification or ability to obtain
- Experience in outpatient primary care, community health, or FQHC preferred
- Commitment to serving diverse and underserved adult populations
