Hajoca Corporation-Developing Entrepreneurs-since 1858Are you competitive, driven and goal-oriented?Do you like to interact with people and build relationships?Have you ever wanted to run your own business?Consider our internship opportunity!THE OPPORTUNITY: The South Division of Hajoca has a 12-week paid rotational internship opportunity in a fast-paced environment. Interns will receive hands-on experience in every aspect of wholesale distribution and be coached by experienced mentors. The internship is spent in a profit center, learning the logistics, operations, and sales side of the business.
The phases consist of:
Warehouse (5 weeks): Begin with the foundation of our business. You'll learn how materials move in and out of the Profit Center by performing and mastering daily logistics operations. This phase helps you understand our team, workflow, and service standards from the ground up.Counter Sales (5 weeks): At the sales counter, you'll interact directly with customers. You'll write up orders, secure materials, and continue expanding your knowledge of products, the industry, and the local market. This phase emphasizes customer service and relationship building.Sales Generation (2 weeks): During this phase, you'll spend time alongside our Inside and Outside Sales teams, learning how they build relationships and grow the business. You'll then put those skills into action with the responsibility and autonomy to generate new sales leads through cold calling, job site visits, and proactive outreach. This phase emphasizes initiative, relationship building, and sales generation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in progressGPA of 3.0 or higherExperience leading teams, groups, clubs, or sports teamsDemonstrated leadership skills in professional, educational, and/or social experiencesGoal-orientation, a competitive spirit, and a take-charge attitudeThe ability to perform a wide range of tasks, with an equal blend of interpersonal and analytical skillsEntry-level work experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and/or customer service is a plus
