Interventional Radiology Technologist – Full TimeLocation: Fort Mill, SCOpenings: 2Employment Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $37–$40/hourSign-On Bonus: AvailableOn-Call: YesPosition OverviewWheeler Staffing Partners is seeking experienced Interventional Radiology Technologists to support a high-volume imaging environment in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This role performs interventional and diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates must be comfortable with on-call responsibilities and supporting trauma-level imaging needs.Shift:

• Fort Mill (Days): Rotates between Fort Mill and Rock Hill; includes trauma call coverage.
• Mon-Fri 7:30AM-4PM with call at least one week per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional and diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages
• Assess patient condition and ensure proper positioning and safety
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain image quality standards
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, contrast, and supplies
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Utilize PACS and imaging systems effectively
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
• Support students as a clinical instructor when applicable
• Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in night, weekend, and trauma call as scheduled

Required QualificationsEducation

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Associate degree or equivalent acceptable

Experience

• 1–2 years of relevant radiology or interventional experience preferred

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT Registered (required)
• SCRQSA Certification (required or ability to obtain quickly)
• BLS CPR – American Heart Association (required)
• IV Certification (preferred)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and protocols
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
• Comfortable with rotating schedules and on-call coverage

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Clinical imaging environment
• Standing, lifting, and moving patients and equipment
• Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
• Frequent use of imaging and computer systems
