Join Our Team as an Interventional Rad Tech Make a Difference in Patient CareAre you a skilled Radiologic Technologist with a passion for interventional radiology? We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Rad Tech to be a vital part of our dynamic team at the University of Kansas Hospital. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to support life-saving procedures and patient well-being. Your skills will directly impact patient outcomes while advancing your professional growth in a renowned healthcare setting.Required Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience, including scrub procedures
Proficient in operating Siemens systems (Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee) with single-plane capability
ARRT Radiography certification
Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (must be in hand for submission)
Strong knowledge of vascular and neurovascular procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

3+ years of IR experience, especially in large hospital settings
Experience with peripheral and neurovascular interventions
Ability to float between different IR suites
Flexibility to handle some light neuro overflow cases

Preferred Education and Experience:

ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist
Valid Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license
At least 2-3 years of related IR experience in a hospital environment

Other Requirements:

Must attend regular orientations on Mondays and Tuesdays, plus bi-weekly nursing orientation sessions
Willingness to work days, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
No weekend or holiday work required; holiday pay adjustments apply if the holiday falls on scheduled workdays
Must be nicotine-free, with the facility maintaining a nicotine-free environment
Refer to equipment specifications and case volume to ensure suitability
