- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as an IR Tech
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of OR
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures
- Operate imaging equipment (X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound)
- Assist radiologists during procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and safety during procedures
- Prepare and handle contrast media and other medical supplies
- Maintain sterile technique and clean procedure rooms
- Document procedures and patient information
- Calibrate and maintain radiology equipment
- Educate patients about procedures and post-care instructions
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff
