What You’ll Do

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology/special procedures, including stroke intervention and intracranial procedures.
• Support angiography and embolization workflows across abdominal/pelvic, vascular, neurological, and genitourinary cases.
• Assist with setup and prep for procedures, including maintaining a sterile field (scrub/room circulator responsibilities as assigned).
• Maintain readiness of equipment by supporting equipment operation and maintenance, including fluoroscopy use.
• Manage procedure-related workflows using clinical systems such as EPIC and Pyxis (as required by the facility).
• Follow sterile technique and isolation precautions/PPE standards to support infection control.
• Participate in call coverage per the unit rotation schedule (details below).

What You NeedRequired

• ARRT & BLS
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Prior stroke certified hospital experience
• Demonstrated skills in Interventional Radiology & Special Procedures
• Experience supporting procedures requiring fluoroscopy
• Stroke/IR procedural exposure such as (examples from the required skill set):
  • Angioplasty, embolization, carotid angiography/stenting, IVC filter placement/removal, nephrostomy, biliary drainage, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and TIPS support

Preferred

• Prior traveler experience
• Additional procedure familiarity such as Dialysis graft interventions, upper/lower extremity angiography, and advanced imaging/equipment experience
• Additional certifications noted by the facility such as ARRT CI and ARRT VI (preferred)

About the AssignmentWork in a high-volume interventional radiology environment supporting complex procedures including stroke intervention, intracranial embolization, carotid/vertebral stenting, nephrostomy and biliary placement, chemo embolization, and mapping/infusion procedures. The schedule is day shift (5x8) with one weekend every 6–7 weeks and call requirements (one day per week on rotation).Call Requirement: Yes — one day per week (rotation: Tuesday, Thursday, Monday, Wednesday, Weekend)Weekend Requirement:1 weekend every 6–7 weeksRTO: RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite.Important start/timing note: The facility’s expected start date is based on training class/trainer availability. Travelers may need to start Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available to accommodate schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may delay or cancel the start.
